Although setting up a home studio and keeping a kiddo in a confined space for pics is challenging at times, it is definitely something I offer to clients. Those who don't want to leave the house and suffer the heat. And all mommies have to do is come to me with their inspirations and ideas. 1st Birthday Session at Client Home
Another beautiful 1st Birthday session in client's home. We used Shira's bedroom and the entry hall to the home as the backdrop. Mommy provided the lace canopy tent, cake stand and Birthday marquee. I provided the vintage toy car and a ton of energy, lol. It took a lot of bribes and snacks to get smiles out of this stunning little beauty.
All Inclusive Newborn Session
All family dynamics are different, and home newborn sessions where I am incorporating family members can take an extended amount of time - so I recommend the All Inclusive Session for these. Baby is posed and repositioned and passed between family - so keeping baby wrapped up and happy is key to a successful session. Being patient, taking the time when we need it for feedings and just some snuggle time - is elemental and what will get us the desired results. I work within any space, and will select those areas of the home that have the best natural light and background.
1st Birthday Smash Cake and Tutus
I so so love photographing 1 year birthday photos. There is always a cake, cuteness and the occasional tutu. I enjoy the candid nature of these, and seeing time and again how unique each baby's reactions are to a pound of sugar and cream.
