Home with baby brother, these beautiful and goofy kiddos made the session ten times more fun, and the images so expressive and happy. These were taken over a year ago, and have been on my long list of amazing memories to share. The room was a master bedroom on the second floor, which allowed a lot of natural light. The tall light colored head board and white sheets were perfect for these.
Who says newborn boys don't have cute stuff to wear? I am loving my new accessories, anxious to find more and really 'doll' up these beautiful babies. I adore these newborn sessions with siblings, love it especially when these babies are sleeping soundly....makes the process so seamless.
The Phoenician Resort is another great location for portraits. These images were taken back in March, when the Palo Verdes were in bloom. We started in the cactus garden on the north side of the property, and ended at the Orchid Lawn with the beautiful waterfall on the south side.
What I love about 1-2 year olds.
They are so easy to engage, everything is fun, little things make them giggle, their chubby cheeks and baby teeth, they laugh when they run, they are easy to relax and redirect with a snack, a bottle, or a silly song and finger play. They are innocense and sweetness personified.
And a baby boy in a bow tie????
Ever changing backdrops and scenery as downtown Phoenix and Roosevelt get developed, and more artists come in and paint the streets. One of my favorite locations, and one of my favorite families to photograph. This mommy does an incredible job with coordinating outfits. I choose the settings into which these colorful clothes fit. Wardrobe has such a tremendous impact on images, so keep that tucked into the back of your minds when planning for your family sessions.
This session not only took place in an amazing home but was so unique. This little family was moving away and mom wanted to remember this incredible home they built together. The images were candid and inspired by the home, as well as the awesome dynamics of the family who were so fun and easy going!
